การพัฒนาและวางแผนงานการศึกษา สาธารณสุข และสังคมเป็นอย่างดี
เขาสำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาโทด้านการบริหารธุรกิจและการพัฒนา
จากมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ตัน เมืองพนมเปญ
และร่วมงานกับองค์การพัฒนาเอกชนในระดับนานาชาติ มายาวนานกว่า 16 ปี
รวมทั้งทำงานด้านการพัฒนาการศึกษาในประเทศกัมพูชามานานกว่า 8 ปี
ก่อนที่จะมาร่วมงานกับ Room to Read
ในตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการประจำประเทศกัมพูชา
เขาเคยร่วมงานในระดับบริหารกับองค์กรเอกชนนานาชาติหลายหน่วยงาน เช่น
Save the Children ประเทศนอร์เวย์, Trans-Cultural Psychosocial
Organization (TPO) และ UNDP
จากประสบการณ์การทำงานดังกล่าวทำให้เขาเป็นผู้นำในการบริหารจัดการการศึกษาที่น่าสนใจคนหนึ่งในกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียน
และมีมุมมองที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมการอ่านและอุปนิสัยการอ่านหนังสือของเด็กๆ
ในประเทศกัมพูชา
ที่มีปัจจัยสำคัญจากรากเหง้าความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองภายในประเทศเมื่อหลายทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา
Kall Kann
Kall Kann’s vast experience with the NGO sector in Cambodia in the
areas of education and health spans more than a decade. His main
areas of expertise are policy development, education management,
public health, psycho-social and strategic partnerships, advocacy,
conflict management and social services. He is also an experienced
and inspiring leader, adviser and coach on organization development
and leadership.
Prior to becoming Room to Read's country director in Cambodia, Kall
held senior management positions in many international
organizations, utilizing his expertise in developing strategic
partnerships and project planning and management. Most recently,
Kall worked as the policy, planning and reporting director for Save
the Children in Norway. Prior to that, he served for five years as
managing director for Trans-Cultural Psychosocial Organization.
Kall graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration
from Norton University in Phnom Penh. He has more than 16 years of
experience in the international development sector including more
than 8 years working specifically in educational development in
Cambodia. Kall has held senior position including Country Director
and Program Director in many international organizations, including
UNDP.
